The Toledo Library was full of activities in the month of June with many S.T.E.A.M. events taking place. Kids have been busy building creations in LEGO Lab and Builder's Lab and creating different pieces of art with new techniques in Art Lab.

In Science Lab, the kids had a great time experimenting with making slime, finding out "Does it sink or does it float", making whirly flyers and coding on iPads.

The library sponsored an Afternoon Adventure on Friday from noon 4 p.m. where the participants enjoyed lunch, stories, a craft, a treasure hunt, free play, reading time and a movie. At the end of the day, everyone received a free book and a "treasure" from the treasure box.

During the month of June, the library hosted 25 stimulating and educational programs for kids.

Story Time will continue through July on Fridays at 10:30 a.m. and the Summer Reading Program, Build a Better World begins in July.

See you at the library.
