Ann Grace (Elmore) Stephenson, 79, of Traer, passed away November 26th under the care of Premier Estates Nursing Home, Toledo, and Iowa River Hospice, Marshalltown. Ann was born on April 23rd, 1938 to Lewis B. and Elsie (Sieh) Elmore.

Ann was a 1956 graduate of the Beaman High School. She was united in marriage to Ronald E. Koch on October 25th, 1956. From this union they had two children, Steven G. and Alecia Diane. They divorced in 1979.

Ann was married to Robert Stephenson, Grundy Center, August 23rd, 1982.

Ann was involved in the Conrad United Methodist Church and the UMW. Bob and Ann moved to Traer in 2000 where she was active in Iowana Women's Club, Red Hat Ladies, Buckles and Bows Square Dance Club, and Return the Favor.

Over the years Ann was self employed in the upholstery business and Dunham Bush, Marshalltown. Ann was a wonderful seamstress, artistic and took great pride in her flower gardens and loved traveling. She also greatly enjoyed her family and extended family.

Survivors include her son, Steven G. Koch, Beaman, daughter Alesia Diane (LaVern Novotny) Koch, Chelsea, step children Mike (Marva) Stephenson, Wellsburg, Jan (Tim) Wrage, and Linda (Dave) Loftus Grundy Center, 6 step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents, brothers William (Bill) Elmore, Richard Elmore, and step granddaughter Heather Wrage Mitchell

A celebration of Ann and Bob's life will be held Friday, December 8th at 10:30 am at the Conrad United Methodist Church, Conrad, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the family.
